NEXA AUTOCOLOR® Introduces Two New High Performance Primers to the TURBO VISION® Paint System

Nexa Autocolor is enhancing its Turbo Vision commercial transportation paint system with the launch of two new premium primers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

P580-65XX High Build Epoxy Primer and P565-390X 2K PU Primer incorporate the latest technologies to deliver optimal performance and protection for commercial transportation vehicles. Strengthening the Turbo Vision product portfolio, these premium primers are designed for use with Nexa Autocolor topcoats as part of a protective paint system.

Long-distance travel, varying weather conditions, and poorly maintained roads can all contribute to the rapid deterioration of commercial vehicles, which often results in the need for expensive repairs and refurbishment of parts.

Both of the advanced new primers from Nexa Autocolor provide outstanding protection against corrosion resistance and help to maximise the lifespan of vehicles. P580-65XX and P565-390X primers are suitable for application to many substrates including aluminium and steel. They are also components of key Turbo Vision paint systems that are certified to ISO12944-6 standard when applied under certain conditions.

Nexa Autocolor P565-390X 2K PU Primer is the ideal solution for coating steel or aluminium where optimal efficiency is required. This quick-drying, low-VOC primer allows fast recoating and dries to a smooth finish. When used together with Turbo Vision topcoats and applied to steel, the two-stage system meets ISO12944-6 C5M corrosion standard.

For superb overall performance, Nexa Autocolor P580-65XX High Build Epoxy Primer delivers great adherence and flexibility in addition to corrosion resistance. This low-VOC epoxy primer performs well on most substrates incorporated into commercial vehicles and provides a flexible surface that helps to prevent chipping and impact damage. P580-65XX primer gives excellent results when used with Turbo Vision topcoats as part of a two-stage system for steel, meeting the ISO12944-6 C5M corrosion standard.
